I used to forget to eat breakfast. Literally forgot to eat breakfast all of the time. In fact, I would be hungry for lunch around 10:30 most days because I didn’t eat breakfast properly. It was when I started my weight loss journey that I realized how important eating breakfast was. Not just any breakfast, a solid breakfast full of good nutrients that will fuel me through the day.
It seems like life is on fast forward, doesn’t it? I don’t know about you but I wake up in the mornings and it seems like I turn around and it’s almost 3:00 in the afternoon. Finding time for breakfast can be tough, but I have found that smoothies with a good balance make for a great start to the day. Here are 3 super simple breakfast smoothie recipes that I personally eat on a rotation. I have more, but those will come in a post later.
First thing is first!
You have to have something to blend these in that is not from 1985. Or 1994 for that matter! These recipes are 1 portion size so making them in something that is portion size makes a difference! I personally have gone through several blenders and I have come across my absolute favorite one. Super easy to store, clean, and best of all, it fits my portions just right.
